RE: Special Council Meeting of August 23, 1988
You have previously set a special council meeting for August 23
for the purpose of discussing the 1989 budget proposal. That
meeting is set for 6:30 p.m.
For your information, in addition to the budget presentations, we
are also going to have a presentation that evening by Fred
Hoisington and Larry Thompson of Hoisington, Inc. These two will
present their reports on both the Fire Station Facility Study and
the Police/Fire Administration Study.
In order to facilitate discussion on both of these reports and to
quicken the presentations that evening, Fred and Larry will be
presenting their reports to Chief Staats, Fire Chief Aker and me
on Tuesday, August 17, in preparation for August 23. These
reports will then be sent out, along with budget information, to
you on Friday, August 19.
