�prove Plans & Specification/Autharize Bid Opening, Contract 1988-7
Shannon Parkway/Connemara Trail
Our Consulting Engineers have eompleted the preparations of plans and
specifications for this project, which consist of installation of streets and
utilities within Shannon Parkway and Connemara Trail to provide service to the
Country IIills 3rd Addition. These plans & specs are available for Cauncil to
review at my office.
This project is a result of a 35% petition project. submitted by the developer of
the Orrin Thompson Development. Therefore, it will require a 3/5 vote. The only
other affected party is the developer of the Shannon Hills proposed single family
project.
Recommended action far Council to consider is to approve the plans and
specifications for Contract 198$-7, Shannon Parkway/Connemara Trail Utility and
Street Improvements and authorize a bid opening to be held on Thursday, November
10, 1988 at 10:30 a.m.

iWHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers €or the City have prepared final pl�ns and
specifications for Shannon ParkwayjConnemara Trail Utility & Street Improvements,
� Project ��189, and such plans and specifications have been presented ta this
! Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Gity of ttosemount,
Atinnesota:
i. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and order.ec3 placed on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The Gity Glerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
City newspager and in the Construction Bulletin an acivertisament for bids upo�
the making of sueh improvements under such agproved plans and specifications for
Praject ��i$9,
3. The advertisement shall be published in eacti of said publir_ations aL
least once nat less than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids,
"` shatl speeify the work to be done, shaXl state that bids wil2 be publiciy opened
on November 10, I98$ at 10:30 o'elock a.m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk
and accompanzed by a cash deposit, cashier' s check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five f5�) percent of the amaunC of such bi�l.
