Receive Petitian for Traffic Control Device at 156th Street & Claret Avenue
I am attaching a petition I received from several residents liuing adjaeent or y�
the vicinity of this i�tersecti.an. Although their request is for a four way
stop at this intersection, we will not know what the necessarq traffic cantrol
device will be until Staff studys the intersection and comes back to Council with
a reco�nendation as to the appropriate traffic con trol device.
Wtien Staff completes its findings and is ready to make a recommendation to
Council regarding what type of traffic control device is apprapriate for this
intersection we wi11 contact the residents who signed the petition, informing
them of our recommendation and also the date we will be forwardin�; otrr
recommendations onto Council for their approval.
Therefore, recommended action for Gouncil to consider is to receive the petition
- and authorize Staff to prepare a sttzdy €or this intersection to determine the
appropriate traffic control deviees.
