BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cauncil of ttie City of Rosemottnt, Atinnesota, as

� l. All bids an construction of Shannon Parkway/Connemara Trail are heret�y
i received and tabulated.

� 2. The bid of Austin P. Keller in the amount of $484,719 for the
!� construction of said improvements in accordance with the plans and
speeifications and advertisement for bids is the iowest responsible bid
� and shall be and hereby is accepted.

I 3. The Ptayar and Clerk are hereby authorized and direeted to enter into a
� contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for
and on behalf of the City of Rosemount.

�� 4. The City G1erk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
____ all bidders the deposits made with their bids, exeept that the depasit
Io€ the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be
retained until a contraet has been executed.

Impravements
We opened bzds for Chis projeet an Thursday, November 10, 1988, at 11 .OQ a.m.
There were 16 bidders, however, one bidder, S.J. Louis Gonstruetion Company did
nat complete their proposal. Because af their omissions in their bid, their
praposal is being disregarded.
Attached is a bid tab of the 15 bids we received along witti comparisons to the
engineers estimate and feasibility report estimate.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to receive the bids, award contract
1988-7, Shannan Parkway/Connemara Trail Improvements to the lowest responsible
bidder, Austin P. Keller, in the amount of $484,719.00 and authorize khe Atayor
and City Clerk to execute the Contract Doct�ments.
