R: Workstation Modules Purchas
As we advised you when requestin approval to groceed to hire
additional personnel far the financ department, we wi11 be
needing additional work station modules for the change in
personnel WE would be making.
At the present (pre-December) time the map-storage area on the
northwest eorner of the upstairs was used for our master file and
map storage. Two desks were a].so used in that area, for part
time park and recration :taff. The engineering tech and
engineering fntarn were working out vf one of the main open area
work stations.
Two smaller work stationa, one in front o€ Dave Bechto.d' s off.ce
and the other in front af Don Darlin,g' s affice were used bp
another Park and Recreation part time person ancl Diana KorpeTa,
acting as Motor Vehicle Deputy Registrar.
With the apgroval to hire the Economic Development Specialist,
the additional ngineerin Tech and the new Deputy Registrar
Clezlc several changes became necessary. They were:
1 . Move Master File out of map room to met1 cabinets on west
end of work area.
2. Move "Lngineering" to map room - vacating a work station £ar
Ecanaaic Develoraent Specialist ,nd affording adequate space
for engineering peraonnel and enineering records and
equipment.
3. Consider more space for part-time Park & Recreat3.on staff.
4. Consider more space for Finanee Department wi.th addiional
persan coming on staff.
Items one and two are virtually complete. Some minor iems in
the vacated work station map be necesary to make re3 workable
for Economic Development Spec3.alist.
Items thxee and faur required the purchtse nf: modular work
station to afford such space.
