Commission on Monday, February 9. The commission passed a motion recommending the city council approve its purchase. Staff discussed this purchase at its meeting of February 11- and wholeheartedly supported it, and 1 can only add to that support and recommend to you that it be approved. smj Attachment CLERK'S � 98? 0 4 TO: CABLE TV COMM I SS I OP,I STEVE JILK FROM: JOE and LARRY WALSH DATE: FEBRUARY B, 1987 SUBJECT: VIDEO EQUIPMENT The following is a list of video equipment that we feel would be a great help to us and to others in the community.This equipment is needed to edit and make our own video tapes for use in the community or for the cable TV public access'` channel. The equipment is listed in priority of need. The City received over $4300 in fees from Metro Cable TV in 198E. This fee money is collected from the users of the cable tv. In the past, most of this money, has gone into the City's General -Account. - Now is the time to put the money into equipment that can be used by those in the community that use the cable tv system. We will a provide the labor, if the City Cable Commission would provide the materials. We would need some lumber and electrical outlets. The estimated cost would be about $ 250.00,plus something for electrical work. $ 3205.00 $ 250.00 MATERIALS and EQUIPMENT TOTAL $ 3455.00
