RE: Goodwill Attended Donation Center Rosemount Location
Attached is a letter from Erin Ford of Goodwill Industries setting out a
proposal for a circulating of locations for the "attended donation
center" Goodwill Industries runs.
This suggested location for Rosemount is the southeast corner of the
parking lot on Highway 3 which the city owns.
Staff supports this proposal with the idea that a concerted effort by
Goodwill to notify the public of its location is done. According to the
second sheet, it appears that a real effort will be made to do this; and
we feel it should be tried through 1987

Dear Steve:
RECEIVED
CLERK'S ( MFICE
CITY OF ROSE%4oUNT
Enclosed you will find a copy of our Public Relation
plan for Attended Donation Center. We plan to start
public relations as soon as we are approved to set up
the Attended Donation Center in Rosemount. As you
know the Attended Donation Center was not located in
the most accessible place when it was located On Pilot
Knob Road, and in January, 1987, it was broken into.
The Attended Donation Center will be placed in Apple
Valley (two weeks) and Lakeville (one week), and Rosemount
(one 'week), We are hoping with this rotating schedule
it will meet the needs of residents in all three cities
by being more accessible.
I am sorry I .am unable to'attened the meeting on
February 17, 1987, as I will be attending a meeting
that evening in Lakeville..
If you have any questions, please 'feel free to call.
Sincerely,
Erin Ford
