Termination of Employment
Gentlemen:
Pursuant to the agreement reached between Don Mazurkiewicz and the city
in 1986, we have notified him that his status as employee of the city
is considered "terminated." "Mr. Mazurkiewicz did not fulfill his
obligation under the agreement; that being his obtaining a valid
driver's license enabling him to drive equipment for the city.
We will be posting notice of opening for the filling of that position
with a`permanent employee. We have two temporary employees now; Karl'
Dahnke and A. J. Korpela, whom I`feel confident will be applying for
the job.
We will, if they apply, interview both; and if we are satisfied that
either is qualified for the position, we will recommend his hiring. If
neither of these persons are qualified, we would like your approval to
advertise for applications to fill the position, interview and bring a
recommendation back to you for consideration. This process could take
approximately six weeks. If either of the two temporary persons are
recommended, we will come to you with our recommendation atthe
March 17th meeting.
