Bechtold -Director of Parks & Recreation DATE: March 19, 1987 SUBJECT: Application for 3.2 nonintoxicating liquor licenses During each of the tournaments this summer managers of softball teams /or rt*mbers of service organizations from the`camunity sell concessions. This does include 3.2 beer, A license is required fran the city council authorizing them to sell beer. Rather than each of the tournament directors applying for a license I have compiled a list of all of the tournaments and am requesting approval under one motion by council for them. This has been a policy followed in past years and serves to simplify the application process for the council menters. The tournament directors are then required to show proof, of insurance for selling beer as well as to pay the license fee.` They take care of this with the council secretary and are finally approved for ; "use" by my office. The following is a list of the dates that I have at this time where licenses will be requested: APRIL 24, 25, 26 UMPIRES TOURNAMENT MAY 29, 30, 31 ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT JUNE 26, 27, 28 LIONS CLUB TOURNAMENT JULY 17, 18, 19 KVAMS LEPRECHAUN DAYS TOURNAVM JULY 24, 25, 26 MIXED TOURNAMENT LEPRECHAUN DAYS JULY 31, AUGUST 1, 2 CITY LEAGUE TOURNAMENT cc: Kim Eul — Director of Rosemount Softball Association - concessions for four (4) tournaments Jim Tousignant - Mixed Tournament Leprechaun Days vYf1LD TO GUUIYWL APR 0 21987 QPJUWS9
