SUBJ: DODD ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION PUBLIC HEARING
The Council accepted a petition to vacate a portion of the
Dodd
Road right-of-way last meeting, March 17, 1987. Also, they
set a
public hearing date for this vacation for April 7, 1987.
Unfortunately, the public notice did not get published in the
legal
newspaper because of an oversight. Therefore, I would recommend
that Council set a new public hearing date for April 21, 1987.
I would further recommend that you, Dean, and myself meet to
discuss responsibilities regarding publishing legal notices and
legal
mailings.
If Council has any questions on this, I will be available at the
April
7th meeting to answer them.
