IMPROVEMENT BID OPENING
On Thursday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. Sue Jahnson and myself
opened bids for utility construction for the Shannon Park
Townhcmes, City contract 1987-02, City project 174.
I am attaching a bid tabulation of all bids received and
opened for your and Council's information.
As you can see from the bid tabulation, the apparent law
bidder is Gartzke Construction at $32,902.50. The engineer
estimate was $42,000.00. Therefore, it is my recommendation
that the City award Contract 1987-2 for the utility
improvements for the Shannon Park Townh mes to Gartzke
Construction in the amount of $32,902.50 and authorize the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute all related documents.
