Gentlemen:
On May 15, 1987 Rich hefti will have completed his first six months of
employment with the, City of Rosemount. These six months have been a
period of adjustment and growing for Rich, and he has done well in this
period of adjustment.
I have presented to Rich his evaluation and discussed it with him. I
felt the evaluation was very positive with a few areas, which we
discussed; and when improved on, will allow Rich to become an even
better director of our, public works department.
Rich has proven his ability as an engineer and has begun a process of
givingdirection to the public works department. The latter is an
ongoing process which will 'continue to require' strong resolve on Rich's
part.
Because of his performance in this last six months, I recommend h i s
continued employment and the additional $1,000/year in salary promised
him upon his successful completion of his probationary period ending
May 15, 1987.
I request your approval of this action.
