5e. Approve Change Order #1 for Valley Oak Replat-Phase 2 & O'Leary's Hills
2nd Addition
This change order, a copy of which is attached, resulted from the grade
changes in the O'Leary's Hills 2nd Addition and Valley Oak Addition -
Phase 2 projects. The grade changes resulted in having to reconstruct
one manhole for O'Leary's Hills 2nd Addition and two manholes for
Valley Oak Addition -Phase 2. I recommend the reconstruction over using
manhole rings to adjust the structures because the height to the
manhole rings would have made it very difficult for maintenance
personnel to enter the manhole safely.
I would recommend that Council approve Change Order #1 in the amount of
$2,324.23 and authorize the appropriate City personnel to sign the
related documents.
