RE: Set'Hearing Date for, Application for On -Sale Liquor License
On Monday, September 14,'1987 staff received application for on -sale.
liquor license and, application for special Sunday liquor license from
Kenneth H.''Youngdahl, Jr., Secretary/Treasurer of Kady's Restaurant '&
Saloon, Inc. This corporation has entered into a lease agreement to
lease the building known as "Marc's" for -the operation of a restaurant
and lounge to be called "Kady's Restaurant & Saloon".
I have also received with the applications the required fees, bond and
insurance certificate.: All these are in order.
Chief Staats has conducted an investigation of the 'three officers 'of<the
corporation and has informed me he finds no reason to deny, the
applications based upon his investigation of the three officers.
Based upon all information received, I would' recommend that 'Council pass
a motion setting a public hearing "`date to consider the application for
an on -sale liquor license and '`special on -sale Sunday liquor license for
Kady's Restaurant & Saloon for October 6, 1987, at 8:00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as possible.
I believe Ken Youngdahl and his wife, Dawn, will be present at the
meeting this evening to answer any questions.
