Award Contract 1987-5, Shannon Parkwav Street Improvements
The Council continued the award of this project until the September 15,
1987 meeting to allow time to obtain the necessary easements or rights
of entry along with the State Aid approval. The easement and rights of
entry acquisition is almost complete. Only the Gergens and the
McNamara property are missing. Both City Attorney Grannis and myself
have contacted these people personally and we feel that we should have
rights of entry by Tuesday, September 15. Also, the Office of State
Aid has approved the plans as of August 31, 1987 and indicated we may
proceed with awarding the contract.
Therefore, I would recommend Council award Contract 1987-5, Shannon
Parkway Street Improvements to Arkon Construction in the amount of
$1,073,560.12 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the
contract documents.
