We suggested three alternative design packages for the system, and the City of Rosemount suggested a fourth alternative. The City's alternative would include the Dakota County AVT1 in the system in order to increase the water consumption and therefore reduce the per gallon use charge. We have received a cost estimate from DeWild, Grant and Reckert, the consulting firm working with us on this project, for the City's suggested alternative and find that the installation cost is in the acceptable range. The estimate of per gallon use charge is also acceptable in that it is very comparable to the present water use charge for Rosemount residents. At this point, I do not see any barriers to proceeding with the project. Therefore I would like tiro schedule one more meeting with the affected residents to discuss any remaining questions and to get a good feel as to the overall acceptability of this solution. The meeting is set for October 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rosemount City Hall. i hope you will be able to attend. If you have an ue tions about the ru y q $ rat water system before this. meeting, please call me at 626-3676.
