Off Leash Dog Areas - �� couple of small projects�veYe completed this �veek. New gates were installed
on the hockey rinks at f aycee Park and at Bloomfield Park to keep dogs in the designated off-leash area.
These grass surfaced rinks �verc designated for off-leash dog elexcise last summer but the rinks did not
ha�-e an��way to keep the dogs in them. This project�vas completed in response to requests fYom pcople
using the Yinks for dog exercise. r�t a Yecent City Council�voxks session the topic of adding additional off
leash dog aYcas �vas brought up. Staff feels that the ne�t area that should bc looked at for an off leash area
is Sch�varz Pond PaYk just east of the skate park.

Ailesbury Park- The park si�;n for 1lilesbury Park�vas installed this week by Winco Landscaping. 'I'he

Greystone Park - Plans for Greystone Park are moving for�vard. On Tuesday, May 2, the City Council
a�varded the contract for park construction to Hoffman and McNamara for approYimately �298,000.00. r�
pre-construction meeting�vas held on 1'hursday, i��1ay 4 and work on the park is expected to begin
sometime in June. Requests for Proposals for playground equipment and installation�vere also sent out
this week. 1'he installation of the play�ground equipment�vill be coordinated �vith the park construction,
and the park should be completed in late sutnmeY or ear15- fall.
Garden Plots - The wet weatheY this spring has made it ciifficult to get the gardcn plots ready foY use. The
soil finally dried out enough so that the plots could be recendy tillcd. E-mails have been sent to all
gardeneis telling them that once their fee has been paid, they can staxt working in their gardens.
UMore Ball Park—The City of Rosemount is seeking price quotes from interested and qualified
consultants and their re�resentati�-es for the cYeation of plans and specifications needed to construct Phase
2 of the Ul�lore Ballfield project. Phase 2 �vill include t�vo youd� baseball�softball fields as identified on the
attached concept �lan.
