Approximately 50 people attended this meeting. Mr. Schultz discussed the proposal and scoring process. 4 of the 5 people scoring the proposals chose St. Croix Recreation as their top proposal, the 5th placed St. Croix as their second choice. The Parks & Recreation and Youth Commissions also reviewed the proposals and both preferred the St. Croix proposal. The proposal mixes traditional playground equipment with newer equipment designs. The St. Croix proposal did not initially include the Generational Swing or a Wobble Sphere, which were items that were specifically requested by the neighborhood and the Parks & Recreation Commission. The equipment installation will take place in approximately 4 weeks.
