"I'hey got a behind-the-scenes look at clubs and suites, the press bos, and the`'ikings locker room. "1'he tour�uides highlighted the Nordic-inspired architectural featuYes, an aYt collection furnished b�- formcr�'ikings pla�ers, the roof structure and the signature glass pi�oting doors. "lhe group from Rosemount even got to �vimess one of the massive dooYs closing and locking, a first for a tour group! Word is cleatly out as the facility has bcen veiy busy� tllis summeY. Inver Grove Heights Ice Partnership-The RAHA Board convened a special meeting a couple of weeks ago to provide direction on the ice oppoxtunity with Inver Grove Heights.The group still has some concems with a few blocks of ice time,and they also discussed the long-term implications of doing this arrangement. Staff will continue to discuss this opportunity with IGH staff to try to make progxess on the partnexship. Greystone Park—T'he construction of Greystone Park is moving along as scheduled. Staff expects most of the work to be done by the end of August. Volunteer Opportunity—Commissioner Farrell is wondering if any Parks and Recreation Commissioners are interested in helping rid Carroll's Woods of some invasive pla.nts. Several groups have pulled Garlic MustaYd and other invasive plants. If you are intexested,please see Commissioner Farrell.
