Park Improvement Fund Balance as of November 30, 2017: $490,297.66
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund la,st month were as follows:

Expenditures -$75,307 (Greystone Park Playground)
Winter 2017/Spring 2018 Parks and Recreation brochure—T'he brochure hit the mailboxes of
Rosemount residents the week of November 27. The outdoor warming house schedule will be included,
along with popular programs and events such as Learn to Skate,the free Winter Family Fest, the new
Family Open Gyms, the Daddy/Daughter Dance and the Spring Egg Hunt. Many new senior programs
have been added to the offerings at the Steeple Center and these axe also included in the brochure.
Recycling Holiday Lights—Recently ProAct in Eagan delivexed two recycling bins to the uppex lobby
of the Rosemount Community Centex as part of theiY Holiday Light Recycling program. People can drop
off unwanted holiday lights in these bins at the Community Center until the end of January. ProAct, Inc.
is an organization dedicated to serving people with disabilities and other challenges with a wide range of
individual services that enhance employment skills and self-sufficiency capabilities. ProAct participants
collect,sort and recycle light strands by woxking with Minnesota recycling companies. Holida,y lights are
accepted year-round at The Recycling Zone in Eagan.
Skate With Santa-The Rosemount Axea Hockey Associa.tion Boosters hosted theix first ever Ska,te with
Santa event Sunda,y,December 10,2017 fxom 1:30pm to 3:OOpm at the Rosemount Community Center
Ice Arena.They collected$5 per family with all funds received going to our local Family Resource
Center.
Breakfast with Santa - On Saturday�,December 2 thc PaYks and RecYeation Departmcnt offered thc
popular I3xeakfast with Santa e�-ent in the��m of the community� center. 220 people enjoyed breakfast,
crafts,games and photos�vith Santa.

Greystone Park- The finishing touches are being added to Greystone Park. "1'he capstones ha�-e been
installed on the masonry columns around the legs of the picnic table shelter, and fouYteen largeY trees were
moved into the patk�vith a tree spade. Once the aYea around the base of each ne�v tree is cleaned up and
the trees are mulched, this park project�vill essentially be done.
