SUMMARY
In August 2017, staff began the conversion to the new Cartegraph software, OMS (Operations
Management System). For the past several months we have been reviewing and cleaning up historical
data, getting it converted to the new system, testing the new system, setting up workflows and training all
users. We brought the new system fully online in early November.
Staff is excited to show the City Council some of the features of the new system and how we are using it
to be more efficient and effective with our time and resources. A brief demonstration of the software will
be provided at the meeting, followed by questions and discussion with the Council.
