RECOMMENDED ACTION: New Port Authority member, Cory Ober shall take the Oath of
Office.
ISSUE
Minnesota State Statute 358.05 requires that City officials, appointed or elected, must take and sign
an Oath of Office before transacting any business or exercising any privilege of office.
BACKGROUND
The City of Rosemount’s City Council appointed Cory Ober as a Port Authority member effective
April 3, 2018. Cory Ober is beginning a new six-year term that will expire on March 31, 2024.
