RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Adopt a Resolution Ordering the Project, and
Authorizing the Plans and Specifications for Greystone 7th Addition Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project 2018-10.
BACKGROUND
Greystone 7th Addition is a residential neighborhood with 46 single family homes located east of Akron
Avenue and the existing Greystone neighborhood. The total estimated project cost for Greystone 7th
Addition is $1,104,997, which includes a 10% contingency and 25% indirect costs. The project cost will be
funded by the developer, CalAtlantic Group, Inc., through a combination of cash payment for city fees
and assessments for the construction costs and trunk fees.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends Council adoption of a resolution ordering the project, and authorizing the preparation
of plans and specifications for Greystone 7th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 2018-
10.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
GREYSTONE 7TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 2018-10
WHEREAS, CalAtlantic Group, Inc. has requested the City of Rosemount prepare plans and
specifications for Greystone 7th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 2018-10; and
WHEREAS, CalAtlantic Group, Inc has deposited the necessary funds with the City for the
preparation of the plans and specifications for City Project 2018-10,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the improvements of the Greystone 7th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project
2018-10.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvements within the Greystone 7th Addition.
ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 2018.
