Arbor Day celebration and tree giveawayMay 5, 2018, 10:00 AM - 10:15 AMJoin us as we observe the 26th Annual Rosemount Arbor Day. We will recognize the importance of Arbor Day with a brief program hosted by Mayor Droste. We will also be giving away trees from six–to–eight feet in height to residents of Rosemount. There will be a variety of tree species available. The trees for this year are Maple Royal Red, Birch Whitespire, Hackeberry and Crab Red Jewel (all are subject to change). The first 180 residents of Rosemount who have proof of residency will receive a tree. Due to limited quantity, there is a limit of one tree per household. Due to the sensitive nature of bare root trees, they will need to be planted within 24 hours of the giveaway. Remember to: • Call “Gopher State One Call” 72 hours in advance at 651-454-0002 before you dig! • Plan Before you Plant, watching for overheard power-lines. Earth Day litter pick upMay 6, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PMThe Rosemount Environmental and Sustainability Task Force and the Rosemount High School Green Team will be having a liter pick up event on Earth Day. (delayed because of weather). Please choose to meet at one of the four sites at 1 p.m.: Central Park 2893 145th St W Bloomfield Park 14225 Bloomfield Path Family Resource Center 14521 Cimarron Ave W Rosemount High School main doors 3335 142nd St W There will be trash bags and snacks provided by the City of Rosemount. Spring Clean-up DayMay 19, 2018, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PMThe City of Rosemount will be hosting its annual Spring Clean-Up Day at the Dakota County Technical College at 1300 145th Street East (Co. Road 42). Once again Rosemount will partner with the Michelle Hoagland Group, Keller Williams Preferred Realty to hold a free Paper Shredding Event as part of the City’s Spring Clean-Up Day.
