ROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL
REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
April 17, 2018
The Port Authority has had discussions with the purchaser who indicated his strong interest in
purchasing the property. Mr. Bry has discussed the proposed use, which is manufacturing, assembly,
sales, and potentially some indoor recreation use. The activities, discussion, and purchase agreement
have been run primarily through the Port Authority. The Port Authority took affirmative action this
evening due to both the Port Authority and the City both owning portions of the property. The
purchaser will be coming through the planning review and approval process later this summer in
order to start construction on the site this upcoming fall. The purchaser’s business is currently in
Burnsville and he is looking to relocate his business to Rosemount in 2019. The purchaser is also a
resident of Rosemount.
Staff is recommending approval of the Purchase Agreement with the conditions and information
within it.
