RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Appoint the Following Individuals to the Youth
Commission:
Brett Abraham
Maisy Armstrong
Aashish Bharath
Jake Liggett
Andreea Moisei
Kate Nozal
Jacqueline Radosevich
James Whebbe
ISSUE
The City Council received 8 applications from Rosemount residents willing to serve as members on the
Youth Commission. Four of the current Youth Commissioners have reapplied to serve on the next
Commission. The Commissioners are eligible to be reappointed. According to the Commission bylaws,
the term shall run between the May annual meetings of each year. The eight applicants have been invited
to this evening’s meeting to be recognized.
Since the Youth Commission was formed in 2009, the City of Rosemount has been very fortunate to have
so many students interested in serving on the Commission. Staff and Council are excited about the caliber
of talent and enthusiasm of the applicants and look forward to working with this group of young leaders.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion to appoint the Commissioners.
