RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving the Vacation of the
Drainage and Utility Easement of Outlot A, Prestwick Place 14th Addition.
SUMMARY
With the approval of the Final Plat for Prestwick Place 14th Addition, drainage and utility easements were
recorded on several outlots encompassing the future phases of development within the Prestwick Place 13th
Addition Planned Unit Development. To accommodate the development of Prestwick Place 15th Addition,
a vacation of the drainage and utility easements of Outlots A, B, and C, Prestwick Place 14th Addition is
necessary. This action is typical when there are multi-phased developments in a larger preliminary plat.
Appropriate new drainage and utility easements will be recorded with the Prestwick Place 15th Addition final
plat that was approved by Council at its May 15th meeting.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the drainage and utility easement vacation.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENTS OVER OUTLOT A, B, & C, PRESTWICK PLACE 14TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount received an application from Prestwick, LLC, 350 Highway 7, Suite
125, Excelsior, MN (Applicant) for the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 15th Addition;
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2018, the City of Rosemount City Council reviewed and approved the Final Plat
for Prestwick Place 15th Addition; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the existing drainage and utility easements legally described below is required
before the Final Plat can be recorded for Prestwick Place 15th Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this request and conducted a public hearing on June 5, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Rosemount hereby approves the
Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements, legally described as:
All drainage and utility easements lying over, under, and across OUTLOT A, OUTLOT B, AND
OUTLOT C, PRESTWICK PLACE 14TH ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Dakota County, Minnesota.
subject to the recording of the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 15th Addition.
ADOPTED this 5th day of June 2018, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
