Motion to Approve a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License Issued to Rosemount American
Legion Post 65 to Hold a Leprechaun Days event on July 27 - 28, 2018, at 14590 Burma
Ave, Subject to Conditions Within the Staff Report.
SUMMARY
The Rosemount American Legion Post 65 (American Legion) has submitted a request for a Temporary
On-Sale Liquor License at 14590 Burma Avenue. The purpose of the request is to hold a two day event as
part of Leprechaun Days in their parking lot.
Staff recommends approval of the temporary license as requested by the American Legion to hold an
event on July 27 - 28, 2018. The approvals are subject to the following conditions:
1. The parking lot area be fenced in a manner consistent with prior years and approved by the
Rosemount Chief of Police.
2. Access points to the fenced area are staffed by the American Legion to control entry/exit.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of a Temporary Liquor License to the Rosemount American Legion Post 65
for a two day event on July 27-28, 2018.
