Fall Citywide Clean-up Day
October 6, 2018, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Residents are welcome to participate in the event by dropping off
unwanted items that are not normally collected by the residential solid
waste haulers. The event will be at the Rosemount Public Works
Facility just north of the Rosemount City Hall. The event will be similar
to the Spring Clean-up event. We will be working with J.R.’s Advanced
Recyclers for collection and disposal of appliances and electronic
equipment. Anyone dropping off appliances or electronic equipment at
the fall Clean-up Day will pay J.R.’s directly. Therefore, participants at
the event who wish to dispose of electronics and other items for which
we charge should be prepared to pay Advanced Recycling and the
City of Rosemount separately. Watch for more details closer to the
event.

Haunted Woods Trail
October 27, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Central Park
This year’s Halloween celebration will provide a fun-filled evening for
preschool through middle-school aged youth. The trail will begin at the
Park & Ride parking lot on Highway 3 (South Robert Trail across from
the Steeple Center), wind its way through Central Park, and exit on
145th Street West. Area volunteers will pass out candy; donations will
be accepted at the trail entrance. Be sure to wear your Halloween
costume and dress appropriately for the weather. For more information
or to volunteer, please call Mike Bouchard at 651-423-4603 or Lacelle
at the Rosemount Parks and Recreation Department at 651-322-6011.
No pets are allowed on the Halloween Trail.

Pumpkin recycling
November 3, 2018, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Central Park
Are you wondering what to do with your Jack-o-Lantern after
Halloween? This fall, Rosemount will be hosting a pumpkin recycling
event. The collection will be held near the park shelter building in
Central Park. Because all of the pumpkins collected will be composted,
we cannot accept painted pumpkins and we ask that you remove as
much of the candle wax as you can from the inside.
