RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve Change Order #1 for the UMore Ballfield
Dugout Project.
BACKGROUND
The UMore Ballfield Dugout project is progressing through the construction process as expected. During
the excavation of the sub soils for the project foundation on the third base line dugout, it was identified by
Braun Intertec that there were some unsuitable soils at one end of the dugout area. Staff asked that the
materials be removed and replaced with clean sand that was onsite so that proper compaction could be
achieved.
The contractor for the project has submitted a change order for $1,874.25 to excavate and replace the soils
as needed.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending the City Council approve Change Order #1 for the UMore Ballfield Dugout
project in the amount of $1,874.25.
