SUMMARY
The Newland development group will be coming to Rosemount next week to participate in a design
charrette relating to the potential UMore development. They will be working over the course of several days
to arrive at ideas about development of the 435-acre site within Rosemount. To kick off the groups work,
there is a scheduled joint meeting with the City Council and Planning Commission. The meeting on Tuesday
night is an opportunity to become more familiar with Newland and the projects they have been involved in,
as well as meeting their development team. I have also asked them to talk at a very high level, about what
they anticipate could be incorporated into the Rosemount project; densities, product types, open space, etc.
The following members of the team will be at the Tuesday meeting:
