RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to appoint the following individual to the
Environmental & Sustainability Task Force;
• Karen Malkowski (reappoint)
• Joanne Johnson
SUMMARY
Bylaws for this committee were updated in April, and now allow for up to 9 members. There are
currently 7 seats filled by residents.
The City recently received applications from two residents who are interested in joining the task
force. Joanne Johnson, a new applicant, was interviewed by Mayor Droste and City Administrator
Martin on October 16th and Karen Malkowski was previously on the task force and now wishes to be
re-appointed.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends appointment of Ms. Malkowsi & Ms. Johnson to the Environmental &
Sustainability Task Force.
