CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA: None 3. APPROVAL OF THE July 23, 2018 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES: MOTION by Bartz to approve the minutes of the July 23, 2018 meeting. SECOND by Young. Ayes: 8 Nays: 0 Motion passed. APPROVAL OF THE July 30, 2018 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES: MOTION by Young to approve the minutes of the July 30, 2018 meeting. SECOND by Bartz. Ayes: 8 Nays: 0 Motion passed. APPROVAL OF THE August 27, 2018 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES: MOTION by McDonald to approve the minutes of the August 27, 2018 meeting. SECOND by Speich. Ayes: 8 Nays: 0 Motion passed. 4. AUDIENCE INPUT: None 5. DISCUSSION: None 6. OLD BUSINESS: a. Climate Change - MOTION by Young to approve the draft Resolution of the City of Rosemount endorsing action on climate change and to bring forward to the City Council for approval. SECOND by Bartz. Ayes: 7 Nays: 1 Motion passed. -1- b. Parks, Trails and Open Space Master Plan - MOTION by Feldhaus that the draft Parks, Trails and Open Space plan be finalized and reviewed by City Council. SECOND by Young. Ayes: 8 Nays: 0 Motion passed. 7. NEW BUSINESS: a. Resident Petition for Outdoor Hockey Rink at Greystone Park — Guest Dave Marcottee from the Greystone neighborhood was present requesting that a hockey rink be added to Greystone Park. City Staff will investigate if there is an area to place a pleasure rink. b. Director's Report — Park Improvement Fund Balance as of August 31, 2018: $1,112,194.10 Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows: Dedication fees — $120,800 Grants/Other - $0 Interest - $333.49 Donations - $0 Expenditures - $8,055.53 (Horseshoe Lake Park, Greystone Park and benches at Central Park) Flint Hills Athletic Complex — Work on Phase 2 is moving along. There may be a delay is getting the picnic table shelter delivered, but this is still expected to be completed by early fall. Food Truck Fest — The Food Truck Fest took place on September 22nd and was well attended. UMore Ballfield Dugout — The dugout project is starting to take shape. The footings have been installed and the above ground work has been started. Indoor Rec Needs Assessment — The 292 Design Group was approved to be hired to conduct the study that is expected to take 5 months to complete. 8.
