They do not envision Sunbelt as a direct competitor, as Sunbelt focuses mostly on large rentals (15 lifts at a time), so they compliment each other well. The City has been a good partner and he shared no issues with our services. Shared info on Open to Business program, PIE, and the Expo. No follow up items needed. Business Park Geometrix Proto Labs Brian Turner 11/8/ 2018 Met with Brian Turner, John Ikhami, and Marcel Allen regarding the Proto Labs Rosemount facility. They indicated that they do mold injection here in Rosemount and they are very busy and the business continues to grow. The Company has purchased other companies in the Country and they provide more services than before. They indicated that it is sometimes hard to attract employees to the facility and they reviewed their wage and benefits package. They use employment firms but also conduct employee attraction initiatives in house. They draw from a wide area and transit and lower cost housing in Rosemount would assist them in helping with attracting employees. Staff forwarded information regarding the workforce investment board and mentioned some of the new more affordable housing in town. Akona Sweet Harvest Intellifeed Nachman Reese Enterprises
