They have had little success raising the funds they need to move the project forward. They are wondering if the City would be interested in taking over the project and seeing it through to completion. The anticipated cost of completing the project is 3 million dollars, although this estimate has not been updated in a few years. Staff would like for the Commission to discuss the idea of taking over the coordination of the project through its completion.
