1. CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.
2. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
3. APPROVAL OF THE September 24, 2018 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES:
MOTION by Young to approve the minutes of the September 24, 2018 meeting. SECOND by Speich.
Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
4. AUDIENCE INPUT: None
5. DISCUSSION: None
6. OLD BUSINESS: None
7. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Budget
MOTION by Bartz to approve the 10 year CIP Budget. SECOND by Speich.
Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
b. Parks and Recreation Fees — Discussion only. Included a copy of the Parks and Recreation
Department's portion of the 2018 Fee and Fee Policy for the Commission's review.
c. Director's Report
Park Improvement Fund Balance as of September 30, 2018: $1,112,194.10
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows:
Dedication fees — $69,426.79
Grants/Other - $0
Interest - $431.50
Donations - $0
Expenditures - $0
Food Truck Fest - Positive feedback/ comments from all vendors.
Playground Removals — Playgrounds at Winds and Schwarz Pond Park were recently removed and
will be replaced in the spring of 2019.
Community Open House — Monday, November 19, 6:30pm at the Community Center.
8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Bartz to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Young.
Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
