RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to receive a donation from CF Industries and to
approve expenditure of the funds from the Rosemount Fire Department donation account to
purchase miscellaneous equipment.
BACKGROUND
The Council is asked to accept a donation from CF Industries in the amount of $6,658.55. This donation
was provided to the Fire Department to purchase miscellaneous equipment. The Council is also asked to
approve the expenditure of the donation to purchase the equipment that will be utilized by the firefighters.
The items to be purchased include tourniquets, flashlights, SKED Rescue System and Ice Rescue Suits.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council accept a donation from CF Industries in the amount of $6,658.55 and
approve expenditure of the funds for the purchase of miscellaneous fire equipment.
