RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to appoint Council Member Weisensel to the Position
of Acting Mayor for the City of Rosemount for the year 2019.
BACKGROUND
Mayor Droste recommends the appointment of Council Member Weisensel as Acting Mayor for the year
2019. All statutory cities are required to annually appoint a Council Member to the position of Acting
Mayor to conduct meetings in the Mayor’s absence.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council approve a motion appointing Council Member Jeff Weisensel to the
position of Acting Mayor for the City of Rosemount for the year 2019.
