Holiday Cheer Party - On Wednesday, December 12`h we celebrated with over 60 seniors at the second
annual Holiday Cheer Party at the Steeple Center with treats, refreshments and entertainment. The event
kicked off with a holiday themed performance by members of the Irishettes, the RHS dance team, who
put together a special routine and costumes just for this event. That was followed up by three fun rounds
of Vingo (music video bingo), each with its own theme. Participants watched and listened as music video
clips were played and marked off the song or artist on their playing cards. Ten wonderful prizes were
given out, many donated by local businesses and organizations. Several of the Irishettes stuck around to
play Vingo as well, and they enjoyed the oldies and Christmas music being played as much as the senior
participants! It turned into a delightful intergenerational event, enjoyed by all.
Skate with Santa - The 2nd annual Skate with Santa event was held on Sunday, December 9th at the
Rosemount Ice Arena. This popular event continues to grow and the Rosemount Youth Hockey Boosters
were able to donate $276.00 for 360 Communities here in Rosemount.
