Joint Work Session Minutes
February 25, 2019
Members Present: Mayor Droste, Tammy Block, Paul Essler, Heidi Freske,
Mike Eliason, Maureen Bartz, Barb Farrell, Bryan
Feldhaus, Scott McDonald, Craig Nelson, David Speich,
Lincoln Tilson and Jim Young
Members Absent: Jeff Weisensel
Staff Present: Logan Martin, City Administrator
Dan Schultz, Director of Parks and Recreation
Michelle Rambo, Recording Secretary
Others Present: 292 Design Group and residents
1. CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
2. DISCUSSION ITEMS:
a. Recreation Facilities Feasibility Study and Needs Assessment
The 292 Design Group provided an update on the work that has been completed on the
facilities study and needs assessment. A PowerPoint was shared with the City Council and
Parks and Recreation Commission. The presentation provided an overview of the process,
what has happened so far, what is still to come and what the next few months will look like
with regard to what work is going to be happening.
3. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Eliason to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Feldhaus.
Ayes: 13 Nays: 0 Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 8:36 p.m.
