Arbor Day celebration and tree giveaway.
May 4, 2019, 10:00 AM -10:30 AM
FREE! Join us as we observe the 27th Annual Rosemount Arbor Day.
We will recognize the importance of Arbor Day with a brief program
hosted by Mayor Droste. We will also be giving away trees from 6-8
feet in height to residents of Rosemount. There will be a variety of tree
species available. This year's trees are Fire Fall Maple, Honeycrisp
Apple, Shademaster Locust, Royalty Crab, and Pin Oak (all are
subject to change). The first 180 residents of Rosemount who have
proof of residency will receive a tree. Due to limited quantity, there is a
limit of one tree per household. Please note: Due to the sensitive
nature of bare root trees, they will need to be planted within 24 hours
of the giveaway. Remember to Call "Gopher State One Call" 72 hours
in advance at (651) 454-0002 before you dig. Plan Before you Plant,
watching for overhead power lines. More information can be obtained
from Dakota Electric at (651) 463-6212. Co -Sponsored by Dakota
Electric Association.
