RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Appoint the Following Individuals to the Youth
Commission:
Ryan Armstrong
Aashish Bharath
Myah Bauman
Claire Chumbley
Hailey Gallagher
Joey Henkemeyer
Jacob Kenninger
Mckenna Laurent
Rachel Leholm
Kate Nozal
Sonya Ramesh
BACKGROUND
The City Council received 11 applications from Rosemount residents willing to serve as members on the
Youth Commission. Two of the current Youth Commissioners have reapplied to serve on the next
Commission. The Commissioners are eligible to be reappointed. According to the Commission bylaws,
the term shall run between the May Annual meetings of each year.
On April 23rd, the City Council held a Meet & Greet for those interested in serving on the Commission.
Staff and Council found the caliber of talent and enthusiasm of the applicants very encouraging and look
forward to working with this group of young leaders.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion to appoint the commissioners.
