This year's event had a wedding theme, so attendees brought photos from their own weddings or another important day in their past, and some brought in their own tea cups and pots. Everyone shared stories and memories behind their special items, while a variety of teas, yummy appetizers, and fun, fancy desserts were served. It was a wonderful afternoon of reminiscing and springtime celebration. Clean Up Day - Our annual Spring Clean-up day was held on Saturday, May 18 at DCTC. Luckily, in spite of the forecast for heavy rain most of the day, the morning was dry and the event was very well attended. Over 450 vehicles came through the site that day, making this our most successful event in over 15 years. Unfortunately, the line of cars waiting to get into the site was so long it stretched out to and along County Road 42 in front of the DCTC campus. We have only received a little bit of data so far about the materials we collected on Saturday: 89 mattresses were collected for recycling, 6,700 pounds of paper were shredded, and 32.65 tons of construction and demolition debris was collected and hauled to a demolition landfill. Goats in Erickson Park — The City of Rosemount recently hosted a herd of goats in Erickson Park along the west side of the Koch Trail.
