ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None 3. AUDIENCE INPUT: None 5. DISCUSSION: None 6. OLD BUSINESS: a. Indoor Recreation Facilities Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study Update - The 292 Design Group gave a presentation on a possible indoor recreation center in Rosemount. They shared results of their research regarding Rosemount's needs and what a project might include. The 292 Design Group displayed a list of features the community could use, based on analysis of population data and meetings with interest groups. 7. NEW BUSINESS: a. Director's Report Park Improvement Fund Balance as of March 31, 2019: $1,163,975.09 Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows: Dedication fees — $0 Grants/Other - $250,000 reimbursement from Dakota County Interest - $294.76 Donations - $0 Expenditures - $3,013.00 (UMore Dugout Project) Youth Hockey — The Rosemount Ice Arena hosted the District 8 Peewee B2 playoffs last week. The Rosemount Area Hockey Association home teams Rosemount Peewee B2 Blue and Rosemount Peewee B2 Green won the championship in their respective brackets. Fundraiser - The Rosemount Ice Arena in cooperation with the Rosemount Area Hockey Association Boosters hosted the 2 annual Skate with a Leprechaun event on Sunday, March 17'from 1:30-3:00pm. All proceeds from this event were donated to the Rosemount Family Resource Center. Guns and Hoses - The Rosemount Ice Arena hosted the 2"aannual Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey game on Saturday, March 23`dat 6pm. All proceeds were donated to United Heroes League to help provide sports equipment to military and veteran families. Senior Activity - A group of 40 seniors came out to the Steeple Center on Tuesday to listen to former WCCO Radio News Director Curtis Beckmann as part of the Steeple Speaker Series. Curtis had everyone reminiscing about the good old days of the station with stories of former radio personalities, station history, and his own unique experiences. Garden Plots - Applications for garden plots were due at the end of March. We have gone through the applications and can offer all applicants their first or second choice of plot locations and plot size. Now that all of the applicants' requests have been satisfied there are still plots available and we will continue to take registrations until all of the plots have been claimed. 8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Bartz to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Young. Ayes: 8 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
