SUMMARY
The City Council tonight recognizes a state lawmaker from Rosemount, Anna Wills, and commends her
for her service representing the community at the State Capitol during her term of service that ran from
2013 until early this year.
Representative Wills addressed many of the key issues that will affect the quality of life in Rosemount and
that will determine its continued success. She was active on transportation issues, which are critical for a
growing community like ours. Representative Wills also pursued innovation in education, the benefits of
which will support our community now and in the years ahead.
The Representative was a steadfast supporter of Rosemount’s business community, joining us on the
Council to celebrate at ribbon cuttings and other major events. She also showed her support for the
members of the Red Bulls division who are based in Rosemount, and for veterans of military service.
And just this past weekend, she joined the community at the dedication ceremony to rename the Highway
52 bridge over County Road 42 to honor Dennis A. Groth, a Rosemount man who gave his life 50 years
ago during the War in Vietnam. It was Representative Wills who sponsored the bill to rename the bridge.
The Council thanks Representative Wills for her service to our hometown.
