Schwarz Pond Park - A local firm, Boulder Images, is placing boulders to form the perimeter of the yet -
to -be constructed nature based play area. The boulder wall will complement the natural elements in the
play area and will provide an additional climbing/balancing opportunity for park users. The installation of
the nature play elements will begin on August 1.
Winds Park - The new playground equipment has finally been installed at Winds Park. The equipment
was ordered last winter and was delivered to the park several weeks ago. Installation crews are way behind
schedule due to the wet weather we have had this spring and this project was not completed when we had
hoped, but it is completed and ready for use.
