ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Adopt a Change to the 2019 City Council Meeting Schedule. ISSUE Staff is requesting to hold the first regular meeting in November on Monday, November 4, 2019 due to the special School District election. At the December 4, 2018 meeting the City Council adopted a motion to hold the first November meeting on November 5, 2019. Public meetings cannot be held until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Therefore, it is proposed to change the November 5 council work session and regular meeting date to November 4, 2019 starting at 5:00 p.m. in order to avoid conflict with the law. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Council adopt a motion to change the 2019 City Council meeting schedule, as presented.
