NEW BUSINESS: a. Park use Priority List — Discussion only Staff feels the list should be reviewed and possibly updated based on the changes that have taken place with Salvo Soccer, the agreements we have with DCTC and the growing programs of RAAA. b. Skate Park Design and Replacement — Discussion only In the 2019 and 2020 CIP budgets, funds are identified for the design/replacement the skate park at Schwarz Pond Park. The current equipment is a modular set of metal ramps, boxes and a half pipe. For the past couple of months staff has had signs posted at the skate park asking for user input on how the park might be improved. The number one request is for a smooth concrete surface to skate on instead of the asphalt pad which is there now. Staff is expecting that the future skate park features would be made of concrete rather than metal. c. The boulder wall will complement the natural elements in the play area and will provide an additional climbing/balancing opportunity for park users. The installation of the nature play elements will begin on August 1. Winds Park - The new playground equipment has finally been installed at Winds Park. The equipment was ordered last winter and was delivered to the park several weeks ago. Installation crews are way behind schedule due to the wet weather we have had this spring and this project was not completed when we had hoped, but it is completed and ready for use. 8.
