RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the attached Ice Rental Agreement
between the City of Rosemount and the Rosemount Area Hockey Association for the 2019
– 2020 indoor ice season.
ISSUE
The Rosemount Arena is home to a number of Rosemount Area Hockey Association (RAHA) teams
during the winter months. Both the girls and boys hockey teams use a large amount of indoor ice. RAHA
pays an hourly prime rate as do all other users at the rink.
Each year, the City and RAHA agree to an Ice Rental Agreement outlining the rental arrangement The
total dollar amount of the contract for 2019-2020 is $132,956.25
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending the City Council approve the attached ice rental agreement between the City of
Rosemount and the Rosemount Area Hockey Association.
