ISSUE
Consistent with the Coordinator’s work plan, additional marketing of the community was emphasized. The
marketing initiative can take many shapes and will include social media and the City’s website. Last week
the Develop Rosemount Instagram program was kicked off. Additional work is also occurring on the
website to modernize pages, bringing in more photos and links, and will ultimately link with ESRI (GIS)
data so there is up to date statistics.
Instagram : Staff recently launched a new social media presence on Instagram. The account
“Develop Rosemount” is a live action tracker of recent development projects in Rosemount. Posts include
photos, evaluations and maps to both highlight recent projects and inform residents of new development.

Website: Staff is currently working on a launching a new Economic Development landing page on the
ERSI Hub platform. The format will be more interactive and better incorporate maps and data. The ERSI
Hub platform will help keep data currently by directly linking to annual American Community Survey &
Census data. Subarea of the site will include new development maps and resources sections.
